Studio 12 was formed based on the merger between three separate entities. The surviving company, Studio 12, was originally formed to take an number of inventions and product ideas to the marketplace. This separate line of business survives to this day. All companies were owned and operated by the founding member, Kurt Robohm.
The other two companies that were merged into Studio 12 were an I/T services firm called Application Integration and Imaging Services LLC, otherwise known as AIIS LLC. This was a traditional consulting firm focused on design and delivery of applications based on the skill and knowledge of the principal owner. AIIS was merged into Studio 12 as of March of 2006.
The other non-surviving company, ClaimWorks LLC was focused on providing Practice Management Solutions, Consulting, and Billing Services to healthcare practitioners. This company was also folded into Studio 12 in March of 2006.
The surviving entity seeks to tie these different disciplines into a logical whole where synergies between the different areas can be utilized.
